A swimming area has been established on the municipal beach in Węgorzewo at 8 Braci Ejsmontów Street, on an inland body of water in the northern part of Lake Mamry, at the mouth of the Węgorapa River. It covers a 96-meter stretch of shoreline. Swimming takes place in a designated area bounded by a breakwater (pier) and a floating dock. The swimming area is divided into clearly marked zones for swimmers, non-swimmers, and a wading pool, separated by buoys on ropes. Safety for beachgoers is ensured by contracting lifeguard services from an entity authorized to perform water rescue operations. The beach features two beach volleyball courts, picnic shelters, lounge chairs, hammocks, a mini playground, a food service area, an observation tower, and a walking and biking path.
